Privacy policy

Purpose of the data protection policy

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into force on 25 May 2018, sets out the principles to be respected when collecting, processing and storing personal data. They also guarantee the rights for data subjects.
Our site offers a contact form that collects the data of a visitor who has left a message. The purpose of collecting this data is to contact people who have asked a question via the form. This data may also be reused for other communications, for commercial purposes of presenting our offers, and for audience measurement purposes.

Relevance of the data

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act, information relating to racial or ethnic origins, political, philosophical or religious opinions, trade union membership, health or sex life of a person is not collected and is prohibited (sensitive data).

User’s consent

Consent to the processing of a visitor’s personal data is always obtained for one or more specific purposes. For example, when filling in the contact form, the purpose of obtaining the visitor’s email address is to contact them to respond to their request or to suggest offers that may be of interest to them. A statement and a checkbox make their consent explicit.

Data retention

The data collected on the site www.maison-jacquemart.fr is kept for a maximum of 36 months, after the last activity on the website by the user. At the end of this period, all data relating to the person will be automatically deleted.

Users’ rights

In accordance with the French Data Protection Act and the GDPR, any person may exercise their rights of access, rectification, opposition, limitation of processing, deletion and portability of the data concerning them by making a request by sending a signed letter accompanied by an identity document to the email address: donneespersonnelles@naxa.fr. The data controller, Ms. Zoé Ballet, will reply within one month of the request for access or rectification.

Data security and processing

Maison Jacquemart undertakes to ensure the confidentiality of the data collected and to implement all appropriate technical and organisational measures to preserve their security and integrity, in particular against accidental loss, alteration, distribution or unauthorised access. Maison Jacquemart undertakes to use the data collected in strict compliance with the legislation in force, and in particular Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, known as the GDPR.
