At Maison Jacquemart, we are convinced that good ingredients make good cakes. That’s pretty obvious, right? Not so much it turns out! Carefully chosen delicious eggs, flour and sugar that are all 100% French, walnuts from Dauphiné, French hazelnuts, strawberries from Drôme, apricots from Provence, French blueberries… These are the secrets behind the biscuits and cakes made by Maison Jacquemart.
Wherever we can, we give French ingredients priority…and we don’t use palm oil!
With around 150 passionate employees – master patissiers, gourmets and fine food lovers – who have been working with us since the beginning of this adventure, we are helping strengthen the local economy, creating jobs in the regions where we have our 2 factories: Limousin and Rhône-Alpes. The cardboard used for our packaging is recycled and comes from the French paper industry. Our printer, cutter, folder and sachet gluer are also French. We are part of a local, virtuous circle as all of our cardboard packaging is also recyclable.
It is extremely important for us that our products, from baking to packaging, deserve the “Made in France” label and the words “Local employer rooted in France”.
We are proud of our ambition to do better every day and to improve for the good of our planet and for our environment. Maison Jacquemart is very focused on recycling which we do in both of our factories. They also have a wastewater pre-treatment system and solar panels on the roof.
Furthermore, as part of our continuous improvement initiative, we are members of the LED (Sustainable Business Association). Its main mission is to collate and share members’ expertise to develop skills and actions in corporate social responsibility.
From our factory kitchens to our product sales, at every level of production we ensure our delicious cakes and biscuits meet extremely high quality standards.
Our customers in France and around the world have confidence in our products because every stage of manufacture is safe and secure: strict HACCP and processes, IFS certification, FDA approval and the Ecocert organic label for our organic range. These quality and food safety labels are an integral part of the company’s values and commitments.
